Half & Whole Beef Reservations

Reserve your premium Alberta beef with an $800 non-refundable deposit.

Our cattle are grass fed, grain finished and raised with care on our family ranch in Northern Alberta. Purchasing a half or whole beef is an economical way to fill your freezer with premium beef while knowing exactly where your food comes from.

What's Included

- Premium Alberta beef raised at McDermott's Ranch.

- We will continue to feed and care for your animal until it reaches market finish.

- We will transport your animal to a provincially licensed and inspected slaughter and processing facility.

- You will work directly with the butcher to customize your cutting instructions, including steak thickness, roast sizes, ground beef packaging, and specialty requests.

Reservation & Payment

- An $800 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your half or whole beef.

- The remaining balance for the beef is due before your order is released to you.

- Processing and butcher fees are not included in the purchase price.

- The customer is responsible for paying all slaughter, cutting, wrapping, and processing fees directly to the licensed processing facility.

Pickup

Once your beef has been processed and both the ranch balance and butcher fees have been paid, your order will be ready for pickup.

“Being a city girl from Ontario, the very warm welcome that I received going to the McDermott's Ranch, was absolutely incredible their hospitality was unmatched, the vegetables from their garden- the sweetest carrots I've remember tasting, the potatoes taste like home. Absolutely delicious were the onions and zucchini in a stir fry or BBQ'd! Oh my goodness there's no words to describe the beef, it melts in your mouth when it is cooked perfectly. Jolene took the time out of her day to take me out and show me their ranch, for a city girl to bottle feed a calf it was a once in a lifetime experience.
