Our Story

Hey, we are McDermotts Ranch.  Darrell and Jolene McDermott with our 3 kids. We started our journey with cattle together in 2022, when my husband and I bought the farm from his family. We love good healthy food and raise beef the way we believe it should be. We like having control of our cattle's health and happiness so we know we are getting the best product for our family and yours. We are working toward building a legacy with our young family. Healthy food, healthy people. 

We currently have a cow/calf operation with which we are growing our own heifers to breed as well as handpicking the animals we choose to finish to feed our family and yours. As we continue down this path we have lots of opportunity to grow with customer demand to continue to produce quality beef without cutting corners. In place of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers we use rotational grazing and animal impact for a more natural, sustainable land management program. 

We are passionate about agriculture and raising livestock on the land responsibly and respectfully. We believe everyone should know where their food comes from. We have started to grow our garden and orchard, even though fruit trees take years to establish, we believe it is a step in the right direction to have the control we desire over our food sources.
